REMINDER
as you know, tmr, 5th aug, is the first week of the month aug, pls remember to put on your full Us.. have every amendments u have to make done by today. if you dunno what changes you needa make, here are some guidelines:
GUIDELINES*
CAP
-Comfortably positioned and tilted slightly to the right, approx. 2 fingers above theleft eyebrow & 1 finger above the eyebrow.
-MUST be worn AT ALL TIMES.[unless girls are unwell.]
HAIR
-Keep short hair neat and tidy, wear a hairnet if necessary.
-Long hair should be neatly tied, preferably plaited and secured by black/navy blue rubber bands/ribbons.
-May also tuck hair neatly into cap and fasten with black hair pins.
-ALL fringes should be tucked under cap.
FROCK/DRESS
-Skirt of uniform should touch the ground when the girls kneels upright.
-Loose uniform should be tucked to the side.
SLEEVES
-Both sleeves should bear the shoulder titles "The Girls' Brigade" & "Singapore", without a gap in between them.
-Right sleeve would bear the chevron, positioned 3 fingers[approx. 3.5cm] below the shoulder titles.
NAMETAG
-Worn AT ALL TIMES above the crest, bearing name and company number.
SERVICE AWARD
-Worn at the top left hand corner of the pocket, nearer the buttons.
-Attach service award to both the pocket and the frock.
TIE
-Tip of tie rests on the bottom edge of the belt.
TIE BADGE
-Fastened at the middle of the tie, where the tip of the tie touches the bottom of the triangular knot.
BELT
-Belt loops MUST be removed.
-Tip of belt is aligned to left seam line of frock.
FOOTWEAR
-Standard issue black bots without studs.
-Should be well polished, including the heels.
-Only black round laces are allowed.
SOCKS
-Only GB one-fold socks are allowed.
LANYARD [NCOs]
-Fastened by the nametag and tucked into pocket.
-Whistle at the end of the lanyard is optional.
POCKET CREST [NCOs]
-Sewn on the pocket with dimensions approx. 4cm by 4 cm.
HAVERSASH
-Slung from the right shoulder to the left hip; positioned below belt.
-For arrangement of badges, please refer to handout by Curriculum Committee.
OTHERS
-Simple wrist watches & plain ear studs are allowed but must be removed during drill, inspection and parades.
-No part of the uniform should be starched.
-No jewellery are allowed.
-Nail polish is not permissible and finger nails must be kept short.

this is the standard guidelines for GB Uniform. pls kindly follow the rules and the guidelines. tmr definitely will have Uniform Inspections so pls be on your best. pls have your boots polished. and most importantly, your nametags, pls remember to put on your nametags. your ties, pls make sure its of the correct length. for those who need hairnets pls put on hairnets to secure the hair from dropping down. remember no pins are to be pinned on the cap. if your unform doesn't touch the ground, pls do the amendments. maybe its abit rush for now, but pls put in some effort. pls refer to these guidelines given to you everytime or make it a point to remember them. think nth more to add already. good luck. pam signing off.
