ok girls. here's announcement for this week. drill pract is to prepare all of you girls for drill tet which will be on friday. so it is encouraged that all of you are to attend. we will go through whatever have been gone through during the previous drill pract. it will be a 2hr practice.

wahhh. ok. gals. bear with it for a few weeks more. after that we are really back in our own sch for parade. we are taking our drill stage one with them on the 24th nov. so yahh. bear with it ya.

hmm.. today had our promotion and dedication service at presbyterian high sch.. was quite a long day... we waited for like an hour or more for the service to start.. hmm.. u should congrats us.. me[pam], zhili, kimhong and huiying have been promoted to corporal. u should be happy for us.. haha. anyway. its obviously this event is a national one. so we had to like wear our full U.. even m'am jasmine and m'am hweeleng wore their full U for the very first time.. hahha. and finally i have my new boots.. hohoho.. anyways.. the service was fine lahs.. all of us or should i say most of us?? hmm.. ok whateever.. most of us hadn't had our lunch... and they[the rest of the gals] playing and munching the food given.. haha. cos all of us came with an empty stomach.. hahaa.. after the p&d service, went back to sch. most of them went home.. then left me, zhili and kimhong in sch for bb 10th annivesary.. hmm. there's not say alot of ppl but still ok lahs.. quite alot of food.. anyways. its buffet.. so of course got alot.. hahaa..there's like 14 VIPs? haha. i think.. hha. we went there to help out lahs.. then after that went home le. haha. whole day wear full U u know.. so tiring and so hot.. omg.. haha. k lahs.. pam signing off. =)

we had our first drill practise today.. hmm.. perhaps we need more time to really train on our discipline.. well, punctuality is important, being serious at the right time is also important.. well, i really hope the gals will put their whole heart into gb and make it a wonderful cca that nobody will look down on.. making gb room our second home.. a home of hope. hoping that all of us will really enjoy the times in gb.. making it wonderful to the future gals. really.. and in order to acheive that, we should all work hard for it. having self-discipline in UG is very important. in fact its the most important criteria in it.. really. trust me. ok i shall stop here. gals, listen up. work hard for what u want to happen. work hard for everything to acheive ur goals. take care and all the best in making gb a wonderful placem, cca to live in. pam signing off.

REMINDER

as you know, tmr, 5th aug, is the first week of the month aug, pls remember to put on your full Us.. have every amendments u have to make done by today. if you dunno what changes you needa make, here are some guidelines:

GUIDELINES*

CAP
-Comfortably positioned and tilted slightly to the right, approx. 2 fingers above theleft eyebrow & 1 finger above the eyebrow.
-MUST be worn AT ALL TIMES.[unless girls are unwell.]

HAIR
-Keep short hair neat and tidy, wear a hairnet if necessary.
-Long hair should be neatly tied, preferably plaited and secured by black/navy blue rubber bands/ribbons.
-May also tuck hair neatly into cap and fasten with black hair pins.
-ALL fringes should be tucked under cap.

FROCK/DRESS
-Skirt of uniform should touch the ground when the girls kneels upright.
-Loose uniform should be tucked to the side.

SLEEVES
-Both sleeves should bear the shoulder titles "The Girls' Brigade" & "Singapore", without a gap in between them.
-Right sleeve would bear the chevron, positioned 3 fingers[approx. 3.5cm] below the shoulder titles.

NAMETAG
-Worn AT ALL TIMES above the crest, bearing name and company number.

SERVICE AWARD
-Worn at the top left hand corner of the pocket, nearer the buttons.
-Attach service award to both the pocket and the frock.

TIE
-Tip of tie rests on the bottom edge of the belt.

TIE BADGE
-Fastened at the middle of the tie, where the tip of the tie touches the bottom of the triangular knot.

BELT
-Belt loops MUST be removed.
-Tip of belt is aligned to left seam line of frock.

FOOTWEAR
-Standard issue black bots without studs.
-Should be well polished, including the heels.
-Only black round laces are allowed.

SOCKS
-Only GB one-fold socks are allowed.

LANYARD [NCOs]
-Fastened by the nametag and tucked into pocket.
-Whistle at the end of the lanyard is optional.

POCKET CREST [NCOs]
-Sewn on the pocket with dimensions approx. 4cm by 4 cm.

HAVERSASH
-Slung from the right shoulder to the left hip; positioned below belt.
-For arrangement of badges, please refer to handout by Curriculum Committee.

OTHERS
-Simple wrist watches & plain ear studs are allowed but must be removed during drill, inspection and parades.
-No part of the uniform should be starched.
-No jewellery are allowed.
-Nail polish is not permissible and finger nails must be kept short.

this is the standard guidelines for GB Uniform. pls kindly follow the rules and the guidelines. tmr definitely will have Uniform Inspections so pls be on your best. pls have your boots polished. and most importantly, your nametags, pls remember to put on your nametags. your ties, pls make sure its of the correct length. for those who need hairnets pls put on hairnets to secure the hair from dropping down. remember no pins are to be pinned on the cap. if your unform doesn't touch the ground, pls do the amendments. maybe its abit rush for now, but pls put in some effort. pls refer to these guidelines given to you everytime or make it a point to remember them. think nth more to add already. good luck. pam signing off.

ahhh.. we did ke kiri, ke kanan and keblakan pusing over and over again.. well, some of the st hildas' girls are quite rude lor.. cos we are having our badgework with them.. educational purposes and ms ho is conducting it.. she spent so much money and saliva buying the materials and explaining what we are supposed to do and there the gals putting their hands all over the materials... touch this touch that... and they are kinda selfish too.. ok, i'm not trying to make any comments on them but its true.. i hate doing it with them.. i mean its really annoying to see them keep interupting ms ho lor... ms ho so good buy the materials for us annd them to use, they keep on like interupting her talk lor.. i'm really disturbed.. and i can see that ms ho is kinda disappointed lor.. ok lahs.. i really dun wanna make any comments now.. pam signing off...

its our second cip.. and we are like becoming coolies instead of tutors as mentioned... well, i somehow wonder if we have become their dogs.. we had to carry computers with so damn freaking much dust lahs.. and its not just one ok.. its about 3 to 5 monitors and cpus can. and bags of rubbish which is wasted.. and is BIG thrash bags can. and so much stuff inside the cabinet also nobody know,.. now theen do house keeping.. what the.. anyways, i thinksome of them isn't really following what the consent forms have said.. it said "mentoring students..." not "help to carry heavy stuff and throw them away in the big rubbish place" hello.... we are GIRLS not BOYS.. big diff ok... hmm.. today is the start of gb fortnight.. and we are supposed to go s'pore expo whereby our church is with our full U to collect funds.. wahh today's shou huonot bad sia.. jinghan leading, followed by yijun, then pam, then michelle, then jovy, then xinhui.. anyways, here's the few of us.. who went today.. well.. the rest.. sleep sleep sleep.. oh whatever.. not my prob.. haha.. anyways, here's the amt.. jinghan: $208, yijun: $182, pam: $168, michelle: $__[not sure], jovy: $134, xinhui: $106 .. hmm.. cool huh.. wahh.. pam everything also 3 one sia.. haha.. really her lucky number sia.. haahs. hmm.. ok lahs.. here's today's NEWS.. hah.. update tmr.. after the gbb day. i mean when come home lah.. haha.. wahh sian.. tmr wear full U again.. but nvm.. its COOL.. bleahs. k lahs.. pam signing off for now,.. =)

hmm.. its the third week in st hildas'.. and the second week we have worn our full U.. well.. have learnt quite alot.. esp on drills.. we have so many opinions.. on drills, on the organisation of our company.. soo many.. but bo bian.. must train our drill hard.. cos if we go ndp next year[national], i hope we can do well.. =) haha.. anyways.. we have learnt new timing.. roll calls, and whatever.. and also we have learnt how to inspect our own uniform.. hmm.. so far we only got a medal.. which is, the top ten highest fund award.. well, not so clear about it.. hope we can get more pride in gb in the years to come.. hmm.. sian.. tmr and monday must wear full U.. hmm.. oh GREAT, we will be laughed.. but nvm.. we are smart in our full U.. we may be looking funny in our U, but who knows we might surpass the other UGs one day.. haa.. hmm.. anyways.. two weeks from now we are gonna wear full U again for inspection.. cos some of us got some amendments to make.. well, all of us dislikes wearing full U but what todo.. we are a UG.. hmm.. haa.. k lah.. dun talk about this le..oh yeah.. pam, huiying, peiting and jing han are appointed to help out in the devotion and games ahh i think.. haha.. anyways. here is PAM signing off le.. tata..
